What tests are carried out by our Engineers?
The majority of potentially dangerous faults are discovered during a thorough visual inspection of the leads, the plug, the appliance and the environment in which it is being used.

Electrical testing includes a test of the plug and lead, an earth bond/ continuity test, an insulation resistance test and an earth leakage test.

All successfully tested items are marked with a pass label. The plugs are removed from any items that fail and the appliance handed to your Maintenance Department. Minor repairs, including the fitting of new plug tops and correctly sized fuses, are completed by our technicians
